Make a list

Make a list of all services that have to be disconnected or transferred to new location. Some list can include what is going, staying or give away. List can make one more organized and make things move along smoothly for you.



Have plenty of supplies

Don't forget to make sure you have plenty of boxes, tape, bubble wrap and stuffing. 



Utilize wardrobe boxes

Wardrobe boxes have lots of room left after hanging your clothes in them. At the bottom you can pack your small items such as lingerie, ties, small pillows, and even a great place to pack makeup bags, hair accessories etc. As we say, "make use of all space available". 



Color coordinate

Sometimes color coordinating your boxes per room with identifiable makings and/or stickers can help guide you at your destination in letting the movers and you know which rooms your boxes go to. It saves time for you and the movers when you have a system.
